Who Is Wise

Who do you know that you would proclaim as wise? A family member, teacher, pastor? Yes, maybe all. But the greatest fountain of wisdom can be held in our hands. The Word of God, the Bible, is a book of wisdom.

It is 100% truth.

It is 100% accurate.

It is 100% historical fact.

It is a book we need to read, study, understand. Listen to what it is telling us today.

“Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death. Good judgment wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful leads to their destruction.” Proverbs 13:11-15

But reading it is not enough. We need to apply what we read. So, we need to ask ourselves, what changes do we need to make? How do we choose to live differently after studying God’s Word?

Lord, please reveal to us what we need to do to make Your Word live in our lives.
