“Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with those who are bloodthirsty, in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes. I lead a blameless life; deliver me and be merciful to me. My feet stand on level ground; in the great congregation I will praise the Lord.”
The last phrase of this psalm sums up David’s attitude and pursuit of God. He will praise the Lord.
What would happen in our lives if we determined to dedicate our lives to the Lord and praise Him in all circumstances?
Wouldn’t we also be able to say that we are blameless and our feet are on level ground? Because it is not about us but rather the finished work of Jesus on the cross. He washed away our sins and they are gone.
Yes, I will praise the Lord.
Jesus, thank You that Your death paid for my sins and I am washed clean of all my wrongdoing. You took the punishment for all I have done and I am declared blameless.
