One of my favorite days of the year is Thanksgiving. It’s time with family and of course delicious food. We are reminded to be thankful. But one day set aside for thanks is not enough. Look around. Start counting your blessings. If we focus on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, suddenly we are praising. It can and should happen every day. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:4-5
Our heavenly Father is a good, good God and we need to tell Him.
Lord, You are so good. There is none like You. I praise You and thank You for all things.
