“The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked. Then people will say, ‘Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.’” Psalm 58:10-11

There is coming a day when every knee is going to bow, every tongue is going to confess that Jesus is Lord. All will know that there is a God who judges the earth. He is and has been in charge.

Today we see wickedness all around. The news is filled with it. It may feel as if the world is spinning out of control.

It isn’t.

The Bible tells us that in the last days things are going to be bad.

In 2 Timothy 3:2-5 it says this “People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power.”

It’s quite a list and when we look at the description, it sure looks like we’re living in the last days. Does that mean we give up? Does it mean we merely allow evil to grow? No! We take a stand, as individuals, as churches, as citizens of our great country. We stand for what is right.

Lord Jesus help us to stand for what is right and to be an example to our world of Your power and love.
