I can’t think of any prayers that I pray that are more important to me than those I bring before my Father about my children and grandchildren. They are constantly on my heart. It is the same prayer that Solomon carried on his heart for his son.
“My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad indeed; my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right.” Proverbs 23:15-16
I pray for their salvation.
I pray they will be warriors.
I pray that their hearts’ desires will be to live every day for the Lord.
I pray that they will make such a difference in God’s Kingdom that satan will rejoice when they step into eternity.
Consider this as a prayer for yourself and your family: “Let us not glide through this world and then slip quietly into heaven, without having blown the trumpet loud and long for our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Let us see to it that the devil will hold a thanksgiving service in hell, when he gets the news of our departure from the field of battle.” C.T. Studd
There is nothing more important than knowing Christ and making Him known.
Jesus, please do a work in our families that will bring them to a place where they are continually making a difference for You.
