“...who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.” Psalm 15:5
This psalm has outlined some powerful ways to live out your relationship with the Lord. Living truth speaks loudly to a watching world.
When we live in such a way that we demonstrate the love of Jesus, it speaks volumes to those around us. It is upside down from the way the rest of the world works.
Number one for most of mankind is ourselves. How do I make the most, gain the most ground, excel before the others to move to first place? But Jesus said that the greatest is the one who serves. The best is the one who gives, who loves, who is willing to lay his life aside to come alongside.
There is great power in living in a way that promotes the interests of others and not our own.
Paul understood it. He titled it being crucified with Christ.
Lord, please help me to live in such a way that I see people with Your eyes and love people with Your heart.
