In our Court

God is God. He is available for any who will come to Him. He is full of grace, mercy, and love. He waits for us to call. He longs for every person who lives to say, “Yes,” to His invitation to receive Him.

So, the ball is in our court. Will we respond to the Lord by giving Him our lives or go about our own way as if He wasn’t there? The answers to those questions lie with us. God gives us the freedom to choose.

The psalmist encourages us to come. “Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared. He breaks the spirit of rulers; he is feared by the kings of the earth.” Psalm 76:11-12

He is God. He is all powerful, almighty and overflowing with love. Even powerful kings fear Him. Who better to entrust with our lives? Who better to vow our forever allegiance? We need only ask.

Father, You are big and mighty and amazing and yet You love me. My answer to You is, “Yes.”
