God's Creation

Much is said about the condition of the earth. Many have dedicated their lives to preserving what we have. I believe that we are to be good stewards of everything that God has placed in our hands and that includes our families, possessions, lands, opportunities. But it is for God’s Kingdom, not ours. He has a plan and a purpose that He will fulfill.

“He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground, and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there. He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs; there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could settle. They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest; he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herds diminish.” Psalm 107:33-38

God directs and it is for His plan. He can work in a desert. He can work in a vineyard. He has plans for a salt waste. He has plans for a fruitful harvest.

The question is, how is He working in my life right now? The follow up question is, how will I respond?

Lord, help me to always say, “Yes,” to Your plans.
