From the East, West, North, South

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.”

Psalm 107:1-3

What is your story? These verses tell us that the redeemed are to tell their story. So, what is your story?

If you have come to know and follow Jesus, you have a story to tell. It doesn’t have to be dramatic or earth shattering or long. It is to be a message of life change that points to what Jesus has done.

Every life has a story and every story can have a life.

One of my favorites is right out of Scripture. A man, blind from birth, was healed by Jesus and then told his story. It will echo for eternity.

“...One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” John 9:25

He said it all in just a few words.

So can we. We need to be ready to speak of how Jesus brought life change to us in a few words, tell our story, and be prepared to explain how others can know Him too.

“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.”

Lord, first I want to thank You that I heard Your story and became one of Your followers. You gave me a story to tell. Please help me to tell it in such a way that others will know that they can be redeemed, bought back, and follow You too.
