“For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at what your hands have done. How great are your works, Lord, how profound your thoughts! Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand, that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever. But you, Lord, are forever exalted.” Psalm 92:4-8
Everything the Lord does is from a heart of love for His world. Even the consequences that come on us are to bring us to our knees to respond to Him. We have the choice. We can recognize Him and say, “Yes” to Him or we can be foolish, wicked evildoers. What will we choose? He loves each of us and wants us to follow Him. There is no greater decision to make. There is none that has so much riding on it. If we say, “Yes” we are numbered among the righteous and have an eternal home with Jesus. If we say, “No” we are rejecting His gift of salvation and choosing eternal destruction. Yes, the most important decision we can ever make.
Lord Jesus, I choose to follow You. I repent of my sin and accept that You paid for my sin on the cross and took the punishment for me. Thank You. I accept Your gift.
