“The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed. The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame.” Proverbs 3:33-35
The Bible talks about blessings, but it also talks about curses.
And you know what?
We get to choose which we get.
Hmm, that seems strange. Why would anyone choose curses? And yet people do. The Bible is very clear.
If we bless Israel, we will be blessed.
If we curse Israel, we will be cursed.
If we choose wickedness, we choose curses.
If we choose righteousness, we choose blessings.
If we proudly mock others, God will mock us.
If we show favor to the humble and oppressed, God will show favor to us.
If we follow the Lord, goodness and mercy will follow us.
Yes, we get to choose.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You offer blessings. Help me in every situation to choose You and to follow Your plan and I will have the greatest blessing of all. That is to know You.
