The book of Proverbs is filled with advice. It gives so much practical information. This section is talking about someone who makes really bad decisions. The outcome for that person is not good. What is waiting for the troublemaker is something to consider.
Proverbs 6:12-15 tells us what that is. “A troublemaker and a villain, who goes about with a corrupt mouth, who winks maliciously with his eye, signals with his feet and motions with his fingers, who plots evil with deceit in his heart—he always stirs up conflict. Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.”
Disaster will overtake him instantly.
How scary is that?
The troublemaker, the villain will be destroyed. That is a very grim future. But people need to understand, there are consequences to our actions. The choices we make either lead us toward the Lord or away from Him. Moving away from Him always leads to disaster.
It is something to think about.
Lord Jesus, please help me to follow You. I want to make the decisions You call me to make, not plot things out on my own.
