As we continue through Proverbs 31 we can be struck by the attributes this noble woman displays. “She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’” Proverbs 31:22-29

She sews and covers herself in royal beauty.

Her contribution to his life gives her husband the freedom to be in leadership.

She has a home business.

She is strong and carries herself with dignity.

She laughs at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom and uses that wisdom to instruct.

She oversees her household and is not lazy.

And the result of all of it is that her children and her husband are blessed and call her blessed.

They look at this amazing woman and see no one else who can even compare. They know that God has placed her in their lives.

Lord, help us all to strive for the diligence, the wisdom, and the prayerful concern that this woman of noble character displays.
