Today we are continuing our discourse on wisdom.
It was right there in the very beginning. Creation was accomplished because of God’s great wisdom.
“By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:19-26
When we look at creation, the precision of the universe, the majesty of the stars, the beauty of the mountains, the exact right distance we are from all other heavenly bodies, the climate, the oxygen for us, the carbon dioxide for the green plants, it is mind boggling. Every bit of it is perfect for life. That was no accident, no fluke of nature, that was God and His wisdom. It still prevails today.
And we can experience that wisdom. We can have it in our lives. If we seek it, we can find it.
Because we can find Him.
Lord, thank You so much that You are accessible to each of us. If we seek for You, we will find You.
