Have you ever felt lazy? I have and to be honest, I don’t like it. It is in us to want to accomplish. From the beginning of creation, God has put it in us to work.
But in addition to feeling like a slug on those lazy days, comes the consequence that if this continues, my future looks pretty grim.
“Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.” Proverbs 10:4-5
So what’s the solution?
Get busy. Work. Accomplish a “to do” list and contribute. It is even of greater importance in making a difference in the Kingdom. We have each been gifted and God has a plan to use us. So get in on His plan and make a difference.
Lord, what do You want me to do today, to honor You and make an eternal difference?
